SEAL 'N' DANGER is a new campaign that Mālama Learning Center, with the help of bright and caring students, have launched to help everyone learn how to become better neighbors with our beloved Hawaiian Monk Seals. Through a 2015 grant from the NOAA Marine National Fisheries Service Pacific Islands Region Program Office and the expertise of Wai'anae High School's Searider Productions, we are happy to share the following videos and beautiful website.
Many thanks to Aka'ula School on Moloka'i, Kahuku High School, Nānākuli High & Intermediate School, University Laboratory School, Diane Pike, Mark Sullivan, William Aila, Jr., Patrick Ching, NOAA, Searider Productions, and Oceanic Cable's Outside Hawai'i for contributing so generously to this campaign. Please tell others about #sealndanger and let's all Mālama Our Hawaiian Monk Seals! #sealndanger
Here are more materials that we created through a 2014 grant from the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Pacific Islands Region Program Office and the Partnerships for Hawaiian Monk Seal Recovery and Marine Mammal Response in the Pacific Islands. Please help us teach people how to be "good neighbors" with the endangered Hawaiian monk seal.
