At the dawn of 2021, Mālama Learning Center embarked on a new strategy to amplify messages of mālama through Outside Hawaiʻi, a statewide television show on Spectrum OC16. Outside Hawaiʻi has an impressive 20+ year history at OC16 and was gifted to Mālama Learning Center by its founder and long-time MLC supporter, Cal Hirai, upon his passing in December 2020.
